Service Providers: Ethernet Access
Actelis Networks® Carrier Ethernet over Copper™ solutions are the most efficient means for extending the reach of broadband Ethernet services to enterprise customers. Using only two pairs of existing voice-grade copper, our solutions deliver in excess of 10 Mbps of high-demand Ethernet service, adequate to support next-generation applications like high-speed Internet access, LAN to LAN connectivity, Voice-over-IP (VoIP) and video collaboration.
Actelis lets service providers leverage their existing copper infrastructure to ubiquitously extend Ethernet services to a wide range of commercial and public sector clients, including schools, hospitals, medical offices and clinics, and SMEs (small and medium enterprises). Service providers can deploy the Actelis’ ML series of copper aggregation platforms in central offices, or co-location facilities, connecting hundreds of business subscribers over the copper local loop infrastructure using our ML600 series of Ethernet Access Devices (EADs) and ML2000 aggregation platforms.
Enterprise subscribers can directly connect their Ethernet LAN to EADs, eliminating the need for costly and complex WAN routers and other telecommunications equipment that is required for legacy Internet access or LAN to LAN interconnections. Providers can deliver all the advantages a highly reliable, high performance Ethernet service without the expensive having to deploy a new fiber access networks.Advantages
