FREMONT, Calif., January 22, 2008—Actelis Networks®, the leading global supplier of Carrier Ethernet over Copper™ solutions, today announced it has been granted ISO 9001:2000 certification for Quality Management Systems (QMS). Recognized by service providers worldwide, ISO 9001:2000 standards are set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a Geneva-based worldwide federation of national standard bodies, and were released in 1987 and then updated in 2000.

In keeping with our commercial progress, achieving ISO registration serves to validate Actelis’ ongoing commitment to the highest levels of quality and reliability in the products and services we provide to our global customers,” said Dennis Young, chief operating officer at Actelis.

Some of the requirements in Actelis’ ISO 9001:2000 certification included a set of clearly defined procedures that cover all critical processes of the carrier Ethernet company’s business, including the monitoring and auditing of processes in R&D, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, product management, product marketing, and customer support functions.
