Mehmet Balos
Mehmet Balos is a veteran of the telecommunications industry, with more than 25 years of experience. He has held a variety of executive positions with leading companies, including Actelis, Lucent, Nortel, Fujitsu, Ericsson, 3Com, and AFC (now Tellabs). Mr. Balos has heavy carrier and enterprise experience in wireline and wireless networks technologies, including transport, access, switching, datacom, and services for voice, data, and video platforms. He has years of experience working with decision makers at service providers such as regional Bells, national, local and long distance exchange carriers, MSOs, international PTTs and alternative carriers, as well as enterprise networks, OEM suppliers, and venture capital organizations. Mr. Balos received his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Middle East Technical University, and he conducted his graduate studies at Georgia Tech University in industrial and systems engineering.
